Coast Community Sets Table for Upcoming Thanksgiving Events

If you’re alone, in need or would just like to take part in a community Thanksgiving meal and celebration – we have a few options for you to consider. There are several Thanksgiving meals and events scheduled in our area over the next week, and on the actual Thanksgiving holiday.

The Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen in Gulfport is prepping for its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless. This year’s free feast is set for next Wednesday, November 27th from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Feed My Sheep on 19th Street in Gulfport. Feed My Sheep will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and on Friday, November 28th, but is sure to be packed Wednesday for the free Thanksgiving dinner.

Also, they’re setting the table in Bay St. Louis for the 34th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the OLG Community Center on South Beach Boulevard on Thanksgiving Day. Everyone is invited to come out next Thursday from 11 am until 2 pm for this annual feast. You can dine in or get carry out – but keep in mind, food will be available only as long as it lasts!

In addition, the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission continues its decades-old tradition and holiday feast on Thanksgiving Day. The mission will be serving up free meals for anyone who comes out to the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission, located on DeBuys Road in Biloxi, from 12 noon until 4 pm.
