Classroom vandalized at Woolmarket Elementary

Police are searching for a suspect after a Woolmarket Elementary School classroom was left trashed over the weekend.

The classroom, which is used for an after school program, was discovered Monday destroyed with desks and school supplies thrown across the room. Police also say eight iPads were stolen from the room during the burglary. The incident took place sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and Monday.

Biloxi police are now working with the Harrison County School District to look at surveillance photos and video. Chris De Back with Biloxi PD said, “There’s stuff thrown all over the place, stuff knocked off the desks and chairs thrown all over and supplies all over the place. Anybody with any information should certainly give us a call, whether it’s an iPad being sold or somebody mentions doing something like this.”
