City of Pascagoula declares local state of emergency
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Pascagoula has issued a local state of emergency ahead of potential impacts from tropical invest 90-L.
The declaration is effective immediately and comes alongside Jackson County’s emergency declaration.
Residents are urged to stay weather aware, as the system could bring heavy rainfall, flash flooding, coastal flooding, hazardous marine conditions, and isolated severe weather through the end of the week.
City departments are preparing and coordinating with Jackson County.
