City of Biloxi celebrating America250 with two Fourth of July events

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Biloxi is prepping for America 250 with a pair of free, family-friendly events highlighting the city’s seafood industry.

WXXV News 25’s Brynne Baxley takes a look at what’s ahead for the Fourth of July weekend.

The fun kicks off Friday, July 3 with the Stars, Stripes, and Seafood event at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Admission to the museum is free during the event. Complimentary seafood and beverages will be available for attendees.

On Saturday, July 4, the celebration continues with the Red, White, and Biloxi-America 250 celebration. That takes place on the Biloxi Town Green from 5 p.m. to 9:30. The event features a musical performance, live music, food trucks, and arts and crafts vendors.

The city’s Fourth of July fireworks show will also be taking place that night.

Admission is free.
