The City of D’Iberville to deliver donated supplies and cook meals for South Louisiana victims of Hurricane Laura

D’Iberville, Mississippi –City of D’Iberville employees will depart at 4:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10th from the D’Iberville Fire Department, to deliver donated supplies to residents of Sulphur, Louisiana who are recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Laura.

The D’Iberville Team will also cook lunch for the city employees of Sulphur located in Southwest Louisiana.  D’Iberville employees and residents remember the outpouring of kindness in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and are honored to be able to be able to provide a small amount of comfort to Hurricane Laura victims.

Gollott and Sons Transfer Storage and Moving is donating transportation services for the delivery.  Other businesses who generously donated to this effort are C.F. Gollott & Son Seafood, D’Iberville Neighborhood Walmart, D’Iberville Walmart Supercenter, Winn Dixie, Hornsby & Watts PLLC, Hull and Hitch and Young Packaging.  The residents of D’Iberville donated the supplies that will help the Hurricane Laura victims in their difficult recovery process.
