Church vandalized, donations stolen from Trinity Full Gospel Baptist Church
Gulfport police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into a place of worship.
If you pass by Trinity Full Gospel Baptist Church, there’s no sign of any damage, but just yesterday this was not the case.
According to Senior Pastor Bishop Amos Marshall, a pedestrian called him yesterday morning around 10 to let him know some suspicious activity was going on outside of the church building.
When the pastor arrived, he found a busted side window, a vandalized sanctuary, blood on a door, and cash donations were gone.
The pastor says the pedestrian was able to describe the suspect to authorities and it could be a man within the community that Pastor Marshall has been helping on a regular basis.
The pastor says he is praying for this man, but it’s up to the community to put a stop to crimes like these.
Pastor Marshall also says the money that was taken is used to help feed those in need within the Gulfport community.
If you know anything about this crime, you are urged to contact the Gulfport Police Department at 228-868-5959. Gulfport police tell News 25 they have an investigator working on this case.
