Christmas tree recycling locations in Jackson County

Jackson County has announced locations for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees through the month of January.

Tree recycling will be available through January 31^st at five locations including:

• The Jackson County Landfill at Seaman Road in Vancleave
• The Vancleave Ballpark on Ballpark Road
• Jackson County East Road Barn on Highway 63 in Escatawpa
• The Jackson County West Road Barn on Highway 609 in St. Martin
• The Jackson County Fairgrounds on Shortcut Road in Pascagoula

Residents are asked to remove trees from bags and take off all ornaments, lights, and stands before dropping off a tree. Flocked trees will be taken, but artificial trees will not be accepted.

Trees can be placed curbside for regularly scheduled collection days in unincorporated areas.
