Christmas on Lameuse

The City of Biloxi hosted its first ever Christmas on Lameuse.

This drive-thru holiday treat gifted Christmas bags for children under 11 years old. Cars lined up in front of Biloxi City Hall awaiting a meeting with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Children and parents showed up in full Christmas spirit dressed up in Christmas pajamas to receive their bags. The 500 holiday bags included cereal for breakfast and toys to enjoy.

Mayor Andrew ‘FoFo’ Gilich and other councilmen even joined in on the fun. “We just passed out some treats with the help of Santa and Mrs. Claus and so we really got this Christmas season rocking and rolling and we are telling the kids to be good and go to bed early that night. There was a good number of cars come through early in the morning. Bringing people together in this great season and the year that we just faced it is just awesome that we are finally having some sense of what we should be doing at least this year, so we’re really happy that everybody turned out.”

Christmas on Lameuse was a hit and the City of Biloxi is already making plans to go bigger next year.
