Christmas gift drive for South Mississippi Child Advocacy Center

The Child Advocacy Center in Gulfport aims to offer a glimpse of hope in the midst of darkness for children and families dealing with child abuse.
The center is currently in the process of transforming its office into a winter wonderland. Staff members hope to stack as many presents as possible underneath the Christmas tree so children in need have a gift to unwrap this holiday season.
They’re asking for donations of toys, books, gift cards, or any donation of your choice for children ages three to 17. Program Krystle Hilliard said, “A lot of times, parents cannot afford to have Christmas and dinner for their kids. So, we’re just trying to alleviate that pressure for them in any way that we can.”
The center sponsored around 75 children last Christmas. You can drop off donations to the center at 2315 17th Street in Gulfport.
