Christmas events canceled in D’Iberville

We’ve seen many national and local holiday events canceled due to COVID-19 this year. Now we add another to the list.

The City of D’Iberville announced the cancellation of all upcoming holiday events that were scheduled for this weekend. Those events include a family movie night set for Friday and Santa’s Workshop, parade, and Christmas tree lighting that were supposed to happen Saturday.

The announcement said it was a difficult decision, but ‘necessary to protect the health and safety of citizens, volunteers, and employees.’
