Christmas Baskets and Backpacks

Back Bay mission is making sure those in need have a Christmas breakfast and dinner for their families. 170 baskets filled with food were passed out by volunteers as well as 150 backpacks to South Mississippi’s homeless community. Back Bay called upon local businesses and casinos to donate the food items since September. Organizers of the annual event tell News 25 it is more than just a meal to the families in need. This is the 11th year Back Bay mission has distributed these Christmas baskets and backpacks.
