Chemical Safety Board Investigates Explosion at Pascagoula Gas Plant
An investigation into what caused the explosion at the Enterprise Natural Gas Plant in Pascagoula will begin today now that the fire has been extinguished.
A team from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board is on route to South Mississippi to begin processing the scene. The chemical safety board’s investigation will examine a number of potential issues such as effective process safety management and equipment failures.
The investigative team is expected to arrive and begin work this afternoon.
