Charges Upgraded for Man Who Caused Accident While Fleeing from Police

Charges for a Gulfport suspect who eluded police, then later caused an accident, have been upgraded after police learn a victim in the wreck has died from injuries.
Thirty-six year old Jeremy Shane Fogleman was originally arrested on July 8th on charges of felony fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamines and no proof of insurance. Police say about 12:30 a.m. the suspect ran a red light on Pass Road then caused a wreck involving two other vehicles. Police learned one of the victims died as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck.
Fogleman is charged with fleeing and eluding causing death and injury. Bond was set yesterday at 1 million, 250 thousand dollars.
