Charges Made in Bay St. Louis Double Murder
A Bay St. Louis man has been charged with two counts of murder in Saturday’s double homicide in Hancock County.
Twenty-six year-old Myrick Laneaux made his initial appearance in court today. A judge set his bond at $1 million for each murder count.
He was previously charged with stealing a car belonging to the mother of one of the murder victims. The bond for that charge was set at $100,000.
Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike DeNardo says investigators are still waiting on forensic evidence and expect to add more charges in this case.
