Charges Dropped Against Former Harrison County Utility Authority Director

According to our media partner the Sun Herald, federal prosecutors have dismissed a public corruption case against former Harrison County Utility Authority Director Kamran Pahlavan, reserving the right to bring future charges.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Ruth Morgan filed the motion Monday in U.S. District Court to dismiss five charges against Pahlavan including conspiracy to defraud the government, bribery involving federal programs and making false statements to the FBI.
