Charged with marijuana cultivation

A Gulfport couple was arrested for allegedly growing marijuana at their home.

Police arrested 37-year-old Merrill Potter and 38-year-old Sarah Bowers after responding to a call of a domestic dispute. While at the residence, officers discovered several marijuana plants growing inside the home.

Both Potter and Bowers were taken to the Harrison County Jail under bond set at $20,000 each.
