Changes made to parking in Downtown Gulfport
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Some parking changes are coming to Downtown Gulfport as the summer tourist season begins and new businesses open in the next few weeks.
According to Gulfport Main Street, two-hour parking limits are being enforced in areas in downtown including 25th Avenue south of 17th Street, large stretches of 13th and 14th streets, and 23rd and 24th Avenues south of the railroad tracks.
Other areas in downtown will offer free parking including the large public lot north of the Hancock Whitney Bank Building and Gulfport Amtrak station.
