Casinos reopened with new safety measures in place
Some casinos in Mississippi have reopened for the first time in two months. They are following state guidelines to try to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
The State Gaming Commission says numbers of players are limited for blackjack and other table games. Plastic shields have been installed around cashier stations.
Casinos are offering masks and hand sanitizer. Stickers on the floor remind people to keep distance from each other.
On the Coast, Scarlet Pearl employees are required to wear a mask, machines are monitored and wiped down after customers, and there are dividers separating guests.
At the Golden Nugget, there are signs all around the building to remind guests to follow the new guidelines.
