Career and college fair at St. Patrick Catholic High School

The possibilities were endless at St. Patrick High School in Biloxi this morning.

Students got a taste of the real world during the school’s college and career fair. Representatives from businesses, the military, and multiple colleges were on hand to talk about possible career paths or next steps for students. The fair was open to students from 9th grade to 12th grade.

Senior Holden Hewes tells News 25 having all these colleges come to their school helped open up an opportunity that he may not have had before.  “Yeah, it’s really helpful. You can just talk to a college without having to go visit. Like UAB is here and that’s like six hours away so I don’t have to drive all the way to UAB to talk to someone. That’s really cool. I talked to the Air Force guy, the police department.”
