Candlelight Vigil for Orlando

Rainbow lights and flags lowered at half-staff over the country as citizens continue to show support for the City of Orlando after Sunday’s mass shooting.
“Driving out hate with love” was the mission during a candlelight vigil held at Club Veaux in Biloxi this evening. Those who attended the vigil honored the victims through uplifting music and messages.
Organizers tell News 25 during such a dark time, they felt it was important to hold an event that celebrated life, love and happiness.
Forty-nine balloons were released for the 49 victims who tragically lost their lives. A portion of Club Veaux’s proceeds this evening were donated towards helping Orlando victims.
