Burglary of a dwelling in Harrison County

Two men are behind bars for burglary of a dwelling.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, 37-year-old Matthew Bechtel and 32-year-old Robert Wedgeworth were captured by the homeowner, an off-duty law enforcement officer, upon arriving at his residence.

The homeowner held the suspects until deputies arrived on scene. Bechtel and Wedgeworth were in the process of removing a vehicle from the property.

Both are being held on a $40,000 bond.
