Bullyz4Vets Dog Show
Having a service dog can help a lot of different people, but many veterans find peace when they have a pup by their side.
That is why retired Marine Staff Sergeant Ricardo Bengochea created Bullyz4Vets. Bullyz4Vets is a nonprofit organization that provides service animals to wounded warriors and combat wounded veterans at no cost to them.
Saturday he hosted a dog show at the Coast Coliseum and all the proceeds were donated to help buy, train, and help veterans re-establish their lives in the civilian community with help of a service animal or companion. Liquid Gold Creator Sam Brew said, “We wouldn’t even be here today with these dogs if it wasn’t for our men and women who served abroad and protected us here. It’s a big deal to me. Both my mom was a Marine and my dad was in the Air Force. A lot of my friends are veterans so I just feel obligated to do it.”
Brew teamed up with Bullyz4Vets to help put together the event and to promote his Liquid Gold all natural weight gainer and coat conditioner pet products.
