The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will finish the stop on the Coast with a parade through Ocean Springs, the city’s mayor said.

Mitchell Distributing, which handles Budweiser among its distribution product lines, announced on May 11 that the draft horse team would be on the Coast from June 3 to June 6.

The company’s Facebook page has not listed details of the horse team’s appearances, but Dobson said the Chamber and Budweiser marketing executives are working on details to bring the team to his city for a parade on June 6 beginning at 2 p.m.

Dobson said no one will be allowed to ride on the wagon as in years past — part of Covid-19 restrictions — and the public will not be allowed as close to the team as in previous visits.

More details are expected to be released as the team’s visit draws closer.
