Lockdown lifted at Jackson State University after active shooter situation

Jackson State University tweeted, “The JSU campus lock down has been lifted. The campus community is no longer under threat of an active shooter.”
No other details regarding the incident have been made available.
Jackson State University in Mississippi reported late Wednesday morning that it has an active shooter and the campus is on lockdown.
“We have an active shooter on campus.” the university tweeted at 12:39 p.m. “The entire campus community should take shelter immediately. The campus is currently on lock down. We will notify you when the situation is resolved.”
The suspected shooter is said to be in a black Honda Accord.
