Brad Faxon visits Keesler Air Force Base

This afternoon, PGA Tour Champion Brad Faxon was at Keesler Air Force Base sharing tips and techniques during an annual golf clinic.
He broke down the mechanics of a perfect swing and other techniques during an hour and a half long clinic on the Bay Breeze Golf Course. Faxon is an eight-time PGA Tour winner and two-time Champions Tour winner.
He tells News 25 the clinic gives him an opportunity to give back to the people who do so much to protect and serve our country. “I’m a golf nut. I play for a living, but I love the game and I love to talk about the sport and so many people are avid golfers, you can see how many turned up today, to learn anything. It’s funny how so many people ask questions and some of them want to do it in private, some of them want to do it in public, some of them want to hit balls, but I just like seeing everyone here in uniform that are golf fans.”
Faxon says he considers himself a little bit of an Army brat because his father served in the Army and his grandfather is a World War II veteran.
