BP Town Hall Meeting Diamondhead

Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves hosted a public meeting regarding BP oil spill settlement money.
This is the second of three town hall meetings hosted by Reeves meant to get public input on how the money should be spent.
Seven hundred and fifty million dollars in economic damages are set to be spent by the state legislature over the next 17 years.
Coast lawmakers along with Governor Tate Reeves are trying to make sure the money is mostly spent right here in South Mississippi, where the disaster occurred.
If you missed this morning’s meeting, the next one will be on November 30th at MGCCC’s Gautier campus at 2 p.m.
