Bourbon Street Shooter Gets 60 Years

Bourbon street shooter 22-year-old Trung Le has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for his role in a gunfight that killed one and left nine injured on the famous New Orleans street back in June of 2014.
Le was convicted of manslaughter in the death of Brittany Thomas and of attempted manslaughter for firing at the other gunman who has never been captured or identified. Prosecutors said Lee was the aggressor, firing at someone believed to have stolen marijuana from one of his friends.
Le’s 60 years is the maximum sentence he was facing.
