Body found in Tchoutacabouffa River, foul play ruled out
Authorities are ruling out foul play after a man was found dead in the Tchoutacabouffa River this morning.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says when 70-year-old Charles Landberg did not show up for breakfast, his friend went looking for him and found him in the river around 11:30 this morning.
Hargrove says the cause of death is pending an autopsy at this time, but there are no signs of foul play.
