Blow Fly Inn Reopens

A popular Gulfport restaurant spreads its wings yet again during a re-opening ceremony.
The Blow Fly Inn opened doors for the first time since they closed temporarily back in May. Over the past few months, the staff made renovations and revamped the menu.
The restaurant has been around since 1955 and with current owner John Bazzone since 1995.
Bazzone tells News 25 the Blow Fly Inn is an iconic spot in Gulfport and is eager to be back and better than ever. “The Blow Fly Inn means a lot to a lot of people. We’ve gone through five generations of people that have eaten with us since 1955. We’re only the second owners, bought in 1995. It’s really a Coast tradition and what we’re trying to do is let the Lady Blow Fly, if you will, fly like we know she can and give her better wings now.”
The Blow Fly Inn is located off Washington Avenue in Gulfport.
