Blow Fly Bar and Grill opens in Gulfport

Blow Fly Bar and Grill is officially open in Gulfport.

Blow Fly Bar and Grill is finally open and staff couldn’t be more thrilled to get to work. Owner Jonathan Allen said, “We are all so excited… and giddy, I think is the word. We’ve got six tables in here and we’ve only been open for five minutes right now. And we’re expecting a full house today. The staff is super excited. They’re all ready to take great care of customers, so we’ve been looking forward to it. Very happy.”

What was once Blow Fly Inn has a completely new look, but the same great atmosphere and food. It took six months to get to the point where the Blow Fly could welcome guests back through its doors.

The view is not the only reason people are excited to be back at Blow Fly Bar and Grill. Guests say that Blowfly offers a unique experience that you don’t want to miss out on.

One couple was so excited about this grand opening, that they showed up a week early. They made sure to be there today right at opening time. Customer Duane Jones said, “The Blow Fly Inn was an icon in this area, I think. And so, we’re glad to see that someone was able to take this and turn it into something even better than it was.”

Blow Fly is up and running, but there will be more to love in the future. “For the future of the Blow Fly, we still have plans to dredge a channel and let people be able to come by boat. We also will have an outdoor seating area. There is some current outdoor seating, but we’re going to be adding more.”

Don’t worry, they will still top off your meal with a blow fly.
