Blood Drive for Wounded DEA Officer

The Gulfport Police Department and our local DEA Office are asking the community to roll up their sleeves on Monday for a blood drive.

The blood drive will help DEA Task Force Officer Stephen Arnold, who was shot a number of times while executing a search warrant in New Orleans on Tuesday. Deputy Arnold works closely with the Gulfport DEA Office and they want to return the support he has shown here in Gulfport through this blood drive.  Resident Agent in Charge Terry Davis said, “It was a miracle that they were able to sustain him and get him at least stabilized and into an ER to kind of save his life. He’s still fighting for his life so we’re asking not only the law enforcement community but the general public to come and support our effort.”

The blood drive will be held Monday, February 1st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gulfport Police Department.
