Blood drive at Edgewater Mall to honor Liz Thornburg one year after tragic death

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- A blood drive is taking place Saturday honoring the life of Liz Thornburg.

Thornburg was killed on August 1 of last year when a car ran into the Coast Radio Group building.

The blood drive takes place Saturday, August 1 at Edgewater Mall.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can schedule an appointment using the Red Cross app.

The drive takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Anyone who successfully gives blood will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.
