Biloxi Veterans Day Parade
Hundreds came out to honor our nation’s bravest Saturday at the Biloxi Veterans Day Parade.
There was a line-up of 1,900 marchers in downtown Biloxi for the Veterans Day Parade Saturday. The procession began at 11 a.m. and passed by City Hall and headed down to the town green. In addition to the parade, there was also a daylong festival on the town green.
All veterans and active service members were able to feel the support and appreciation from the community. Active duty military Member DeAngelo Edwards said, “It was a lot of support behind us and people really loved us like they showed actual affection today. My heart kind of got warm. It showed that we were really appreciated and it made me realize that people are really thankful for us besides our family. People telling me they love me and I don’t even know them, but that’s alright.”
Veterans and active military members told News 25 this event made them feel very proud.
