Biloxi Shuckers vs. Pensacola Blue Wahoos (game 3)

As a part of their red hot start to the 2018 season, the Biloxi Shuckers set a new franchise record for nine consecutive wins at MGM Park. Yesterday, that came to an end at the hands of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

Shuckers looking to get back on track in the third game of this series.

Biloxi wins 4-1.

Yesterday, catcher Tyler Heineman got the call up to Triple-A Colorado Springs, joining utility man Dylan Moore who received the same promotion on Thursday.

Former Shucker Freddy Peralta for WXXV Play of the Day. Peralta got the spot start for the Milwaukee Brewers and who knows, they might want to keep him around after what he did in his major league debut. Thirteen strikeouts over five and two-third innings, a new franchise record for the Brew Crew.

The best part, his family was in town to watch history in the making, a 7-3 victory at the Colorado Rockies on mother’s Day.
