Biloxi Shuckers vs. Chattanooga Lookouts

Biloxi Shuckers pitcher Trey Supak is no stranger to flirting with a no-hitter. The 11th ranked prospect of the Milwaukee Brewers came just one out away from history back on May 30th in a 3-0 victory over the Tennessee Smokies.

Back for more, Supak gave it another ride in tonight’s seven-inning game against the Chattanooga Lookouts.

Seven innings of one-hit shutout ball for Supak.  Shuckers win Game One 8-0. They also win Game Two 4-1. “It’s all about execution at that point. I mean your adrenaline is running a little bit more so you’ve kind of got to calm it down a little bit, but it wasn’t meant to be again. It is what it is. Ball wasn’t hit very hard, just found a hole. And there’s some plays earlier in the game that could have been hits as well, but that one ended up being the one so it is what it is. As long as I can keep on going out there and throwing well, that’s all that really matters,” said Supak.

Supak also had two hits in tonight’s game.
