Now here’s a night at the ball park the Biloxi Shuckers won’t soon forget. Last night, they beat the Birmingham Barons 14-6 in game three and they didn’t really have to swing the bat all that much.

Most of the damage came in a 12-run inning in which they recorded just one hit, but drew 13 walks all part of their franchise record 16 walk night.

Here’s Biloxi Shuckers Broadcaster and Media Relations Manager Garrett Greene on the call. “Lucas Erceg is the 17th man to bat for Biloxi and he’s got a 3-1 count, the pitch on the way, and it’s inside, ball four. Lucas Erceg walks for the second time in the inning, and the Shuckers now have their 12-spot. Here in the sixth, it’s 13-2 on one hit. The Shuckers have 12 runs in the sixth inning on one hit.”

The Shuckers wrap up their six-game series in Birmingham with games on Saturday and Sunday.
