Biloxi Shuckers catcher Jakson Reetz named Southern League Player of the Week

Biloxi Shuckers catcher Jakson Reetz ended the first half of the season on a high note, winning Southern League Player of the Week.

He hit .391 across six games with three doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, seven runs scored, three walks, a hit-by-pitch, and two fielding assists.

Reetz has a share of the league lead with 15 home runs and is the outright leader in slugging, OPS, and hit-by-pitch.

Reetz was a third-round pick in 2014.
