Biloxi Seafood Festival poster unveiled

The poster for the 37th annual Biloxi Seafood Festival was unveiled this morning.

Local artist Matt Stebly took home the prize and his painting will now represent the Seafood Festival once again. Stebly has taken home the top spot many times before and his art always embodies everything the Seafood Festival means to Biloxi.

The festival will take place September 8th and 9th and is a celebration of seafood heritage in the City of Biloxi.  City of Biloxi Public Affairs Specialist Cecilia Dobbs Walton said, “There will be vendors. There will be plenty of seafood. There will be seafood gumbo contests that will be going on so this just adds on to the event. People get excited about the poster. People want to purchase the poster and it is a collector’s item.”

Matt Stebly also won a $500 prize.
