Biloxi Rotary Club regroups

The Biloxi Rotary Club is a charitable organization committed to bettering the city as well as the world.

They have been serving our community with food drives and even helping out on an international level by sponsoring a garden in Jamaica.

Tuesday was their second meeting back after COVID-19. They meet every Tuesday at noon at Mary Mahoney’s in Biloxi. The group currently has about 40 members and is welcoming all to join as they regroup themselves following the pandemic.

At Tuesday’s lunch they had the Biloxi School District Superintendent provide updates on school reopenings.  Biloxi Rotary Club President Kay Miller said, “So, we are sort of recouping, learning how to social distance, and meeting as a club again. We’re gathering back what we are going to do to move forward.  One of our fundraisers got kind of chopped in two with COVID. We’re seeing how things are going to go moving forward.”

The Biloxi Rotary Club invites all to attend its Tuesday lunch at Mary Mahoney’s. Members can be from outside the Biloxi area.
