Biloxi Police: 13-year-old charged with manslaughter after fatal shooting while playing with gun
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — On Sunday afternoon, officers with the Biloxi Police Department responded to an apartment on Covenant Square Drive for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to an apartment and found a deceased male that appeared to have been shot. The victim was under the age of 18.
The investigation revealed that the victim, along with friends, was hanging out at the apartment. While there, one of the friends, 13-year-old Biloxi resident Jayden Kyshun Frazier began playing with a gun. While showing the gun off and pointing it at people, the firearm was discharged and the victim was struck.
Jayden Kyshun Frazier is being charged as an adult with Manslaughter. His bond was set at $250,000.00 by Justice Court Judge Nick Patano.
After being booked in, Frazier was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
