Biloxi Pep Rally Honors First Responders

The crowd rumbled at Biloxi High School today for their annual pep rally honoring our first responders.
The anniversary of September 11th is quickly approaching and Biloxi High School honored local heroes at their first pep rally of the school year. Retired Air Force pilot and Biloxi resident Dick Wilson, along with a Biloxi police officer, firefighter, and active duty Air Force airman, were all honored at today’s rally. Of course, it was American heroes themed and full of patriotic spirit.
Principal Marcus Boudreaux said, “First responders were so important on 9-11. We’re coming up on the anniversary of it and I think here in Biloxi people really take that to heart having Keesler Air Force Base and so many other military installations here locally. I think it really hits home for us.”
Biloxi High School’s first home football game is tonight at 7 against Northshore High School.
