Biloxi pedestrian overpass update

Construction has been underway since March 2018 on the new pedestrian overpass located over Highway 90 in between the Beau Rivage and MGM Park.

Barricades are in place along Highway 90 as MDOT crews work to build the walkway. Lanes have been closed at Caillavet Street in order to assist MDOT with construction.

Businesses located near the worksite tell News 25 they will be happy when the lanes reopen because the closures have been deterring people away from their establishments and creating heavy traffic.

The entire project is still set to be completed this December.
