Biloxi PD and Harrison County Sheriff’s Office teaming up for Sally relief efforts

The Biloxi Police Department is teaming up with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to help our neighbors in Alabama dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sally.

They are asking that residents donate cleaning supplies, food, and drinks at the Harrison County Work Center located on Lorraine Road.  No clothing items should be donated at this time.

Major Chris De Back tells News 25 this is nothing new as the Gulf Coast continues to help each other during these tough times.  “We are asking people to drop them off as soon as possible. We’ll have crews loading up and going over to Baldwin County, Alabama on Tuesday to deliver that, as well as being there for four days cooking for first responders. Whatever you want to call it, pay it back or pay it forward, we know that they are gonna come anytime we need their support so we want to do the same for them.”

Also, the Biloxi Fire Museum continues to raise funds for building supplies to help restore homes for first responders in the Laura and Sally disaster zones.
