Biloxi men charged in drive-by shooting case

Two Biloxi men are behind bars in connection with a drive-by shooting, Biloxi Police said.

D’Anthony C. Mitchell, 19, and George Powe III, 25, both of Biloxi, were arrested on a charge of drive-by shooting, Capt. Brian Dykes said in a press release.

According to Biloxi Police, a residence in the 700 block of Division Street was struck by gunfire several times. No injuries were reported.

Mitchell and Powe were taken to the Harrison County jail and are being held on $100,000 bond each, imposed by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
