Biloxi man dies in multiple-vehicle wreck in Florida

A 34-year-old Biloxi man died Sunday night in a three-vehicle wreck on Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island, Florida Highway Patrol said in a press release.

The collision happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday just past the Destin bridge, FHP said.

The Biloxi man, whom FHP did not identify, was traveling eastbound on Highway 98 when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the westbound lane and struck another vehicle.

There also was a third vehicle involved, but it was unclear how.

As of May 2020, according to WEAR TV in Pensacola, FHP no longer releases names of victims.
