Biloxi man charged in Tuesday shooting incident

Biloxi Police have arrested a 19-year-old Biloxi man on charges stemming from a shooting on Tuesday.

Maj. Chris DeBack said Bertand Spratt Antoine IV was charged with aggravated assault on Wednesday.

DeBack said an investigation into a shooting incident on Tuesday in the 200 block of Strangi Avenue. Police said the investigation showed that Antoine allegedly brandished a firearm and shot at an individual in an attempt to cause bodily harm.

The victim was not struck or injured in the incident.

Antoine was taken to the Harrison County jail, where he was held on a $100,000 bond set by Justice Judge Albert Fountain.
