Biloxi man arrested in armed robbery case
A Biloxi man suspected of armed robbery has been arrested by Biloxi Police.
On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Biloxi Police officers responded to the 1600 block of Pass Road, in reference to an armed robbery.
Witnesses reported a suspect allegedly entered a business, pointed a firearm at employees, and demanded money. Officers were provided a physical and clothing description of the alleged suspect.
Biloxi Police canvassed the area and encountered an individual who matched the description provided, identified as Antoine Prevost, 26. Prevost fled officers on foot and was apprehended without incident.
Prevost was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon by felon. He was taken to the Harrison County jail and held in lieu of a total $250,000 bond set by Harrison County Judge Albert Fountain.
