Biloxi Main Street selling shirts to benefit Officer McKeithen’s family

The recent death of Biloxi Police Officer Robert McKeithen hit the community hard and many residents wanted to give back to the officer’s family and co-workers.

Biloxi Main Street has been selling special t-shirts to support all Biloxi Police Officers and firefighters. The group sold 500 shirts in less than one day and they had to re-order 300 more.

All profits from these t-shirts go to Officer McKeithen’s family. City of Biloxi Historical Administrator Bill Raymond said, “People felt helpless after what had happened. They didn’t know what to do and this was a chance for them to help out and it wasn’t big. The shirts are $20 so a lot of people just wanted to come do something and it felt like they could help because it was just so overwhelming.”

If you would like to purchase a t-shirt there are still a few left at the Biloxi Visitors Center.
