Biloxi High seniors walk down memory lane

It was a walk down memory lane for students at Biloxi High this afternoon.

Seniors dressed in their caps and gowns and paraded down the halls of North Bay Elementary School. This was the third year of what they hope will become a longstanding tradition.

Many of the seniors attended North Bay Elementary and tell News 25 it was nice to see former teachers and walk the halls one more time before graduation. Senior Darbi Guardanapo said, “I feel like walking these halls kind of prepared me to walk down the stage.”

Senior Autumn McDaniel said, “I think it’s more of an inspiration. They might not know what it means now, but they might look back on this moment and think I remember when the kids came in with the gowns and I want to do that someday.”

Fourth grader Carly said, “It was really cool and it inspired me to do good in school so I can be one of them when I get older.”

Biloxi High’s graduation will take place next Tuesday, May 22nd from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Coast Coliseum.
