Biloxi City Officials Prepare for Parking Problems this Weekend

Thousands of people are expected to be out on the town in Biloxi this weekend.
Besides the Shuckers anticipated home opener, many other family fun activities are going on throughout the city, which means limited parking.
Vincent Creel with city public affairs says it’s under control. People going to the game can park in the east Biloxi casinos and Coast Transit Authority buses will shuttle them to the stadium and back.
Next week, Biloxi City Council will discuss a proposal to see $2 million in funding for the overhead pedestrian walkway across HWY 90 to MGM Park.
